Tuesday Feb 26. Back down the Sutlahine and up to Base Camp

 Just a grayer day.  A little colder and so the River is still crossable.

Coming down from Bryan & Henri's Pass

Extra Fuel had been stored for the return trip.

See that high valley in the center of the picture.  That is about the climb to get back to Base Camp.

 Looks like two Wolves had been here.  Ishi pee'ed twice were they had.

Finally back to Base Camp.  Took 4 1/2 hours again.  That is Center Mountain on the left and you can just see the Big empty Lodge on the right.  You can see the marker sticks on the one side of the path.  We always use the same route.  It makes the ice get thicker.  If you venture off this hard path you will find 15" of overflow.  Nasty stuff.  It has been -3 to 0 for the last 5 days.
