We packed up and headed out in mid day. It had been - 5 last night and the snow was solid. We did not want to be traveling the pass late in the day because of the avalanche possibility. We were a heavy load going back up to the mountain lake but we made it with no trouble. Ishi ran most of the way.
We work a remote trap line in the far north west corner of BC Canada. For long periods of the year it is just the two of us, 2 dogs, a cat and two chickens. This is how we live. WE TAKE ORDERS FOR FURS DONE FOR TAXIDERMY AND RUGS....

Third Day Out at the Inklin
I use 3/32 or 5/64 1 x 19 cable with Sennekers spring and toothed cam lock. More info and hints will be on Subscription blog tomorrow.
The Inklin River had been frozen over before this Major Mild. That is why you need trail on solid ground and not depend on using the frozen ice.
